Jessica Mitchell

Jessica Mitchell

Jessica has been practising yoga for 6 years. Whilst studying for her dance degree, Jessica found yoga gave her extra physical and mental support. It was one of the only times she could do physical exercise and improve her body and mind in a non-competitive environment.

Studying yoga has brought her many benefits: she is more calm and confident, can use breathing techniques which help combat stress and nerves and the postures ensure she never slouches at her computer or when walking down the street. To be able to change your mood with a short practise of postures is a wonderful tool to have and one she is delighted to pass on.

Jessica is a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher, accredited with the British School of Yoga. She is also a YogaBugs teacher which allows her to teach children of all ages. She is fully insured and has passed all the relevant police checks for working with children. Her studies are ongoing - and she is soon to be taking a pre and post natal yoga qualification.

Jessica takes our Teen Yoga class on Tuesday evenings. Yoga can help teenagers deal with the stress of those never ending exams and it can be a great antedote to the poor postures often adopted by that age group!
