We know a lot of people continue battling through their pain and restricted movement because they are not sure whether treatment would help, don't know who is best to treat them , or can't get an appointment with their doctor or NHS provider.

A lot of conditions that could be easily treated are allowed to get worse or become chronic long-term problems purely as a result of not tackling them early with the appropriate treatment.
Physiotherapy helps to restore movement and function in people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.

Our physiotherapists are fully qualified and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. We pride ourselves on the calibre of our staff who are all highly skilled practitioners and  experienced in effectively treating a wide range of conditions.

'After several months of treatment for a challenging muscle tear, I can highly recommend Physio on the River. All staff are extremely professional, efficient, and very kind. Examinations are meticulous with the findings well communicated, resulting in a bespoke programme of exercises, with helpful videos. Outstanding. .'

Chantal Blake-Milton - November 27, 2018

'I’ve used Physio on the Rivers services on numerous occasions for running related injuries. David has both got me back on the startline more times than I can remember. Super efficient service with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I’ve also recommended my work colleagues who have been equally impressed. They are my go to physio clinic, thank you!'

Dr Dave Mantle, Chiswick- October 19, 2018

'Felt that I was being assessed and helped by an experienced professional. Richard diagnosed the issue on my first visit and gave an accurate assessment of the recovery time and the procedures and exercises to do to accelerate my recovery. Very happy with the care and attention I received and would happily recommend Richard to others.

Why choose physiotherapy?
“Physiotherapy is a science-based profession and takes a ‘whole person’ approach to health and well-being, which includes the patient’s general lifestyle. At the core is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.”
(Chartered Society of Physiotherapy)

Physiotherapists help to restore movement and function in people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.
