Our physios are well qualified and experienced in treating neck and back pain, sports injuries, degenerative joint problems such as arthritis, problems related to pregnancy, headaches and work related/repetitive strain conditions.

Pilates for all
Pilates is a series of exercises designed initially for dancers. They have now been modified to help ordinary people gain a strong and flexible body and improve body posture.

The exercises work on the all important trunk and shoulder blade muscles (core stability muscles) that are so important in the prevention of back and neck pain and that help improve sports performance.

If you live in south west London, why not try our small, friendly pilates classes run by our team of fully qualified staff on weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturday mornings? We promise no more than eight people per class and we offer 1-on-1 sessions for those who prefer individual pilates tuition.

Yoga for flexibility
Physio on the River offers a selection of yoga classes - from the more traditional Hatha yoga to Dynamic Ashtanga yoga and we cater for beginners to advanced level.

Physically, yoga can help develop a fit and supple body through the practise of asanas (postures). It tones the muscles and improves the circulation. On a spiritual level it helps with relaxation and coping with tension - a marvellous antidote to the pressures of modern life!
